Working at the associational level, we as your NOBA staff have the immense privilege and excitement of hearing countless stories about what God is doing throughout our city, on every street, in every house, with every people.
The purpose of this blog is rather simple: we want to begin sharing these stories with you, in order to encourage you and in order to inspire the praise of God in response to his work here. In other words, we hope that this blog can be part of a larger work of God in our city to unify his people here in praise of Him. If you want to contribute to this blog, please contact us. We cannot tell your stories as well as you can. We would be overjoyed if this were the last blog entry written by the NOBA staff.
We hope that, by hearing each other’s stories, we as an association will be able to pray more specifically for each other and to love each other more earnestly. The Apostle Peter writes:
Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins…
The love of our Father has covered our many sins through the atoning work of the Son, and we are now united with Him as sons and daughters, as bride and groom. In the same way God uses our love for each other to unify us.
God, we pray that you would continue your work here, that you would unify us by your love shown on the cross and by our love for each other, that we would know the stories of your work here, and that we would find reason, in hearing of what you have done, to praise you. Amen.
